Hansol Group’s new shared value:
Communication between culture and art
Hansol Group is diligently fulfilling its corporate social responsibility through arts and culture. Hanso Group will continue to make active efforts so that diverse cultures can expand their boundaries and gain more depth and that everyone can lead their desired cultural life.
Contributing to the development of culture is Hansol’s long-held principle
After deciding to engage itself in the arts and culture field as part of its social contribution efforts, Hansol founded the Hansol Cultural Foundation in 1995 and has since been actively pursuing cultural projects. As well as conducting society-linked contribution activities to ensure high-quality cultural life for all individuals, Hansol Group is also conveying the joy of art to every corner of society through cultivating talent by constantly supporting talented artists as well as supporting various cultural and artistic events via special exhibitions and cultural exchanges held in Korea and overseas. In addition, having signed a business agreement with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of South Korea to promote the government campaign “Culture Day,” Hansol Group is also leading the way in stimulating cultural consumption at the national level.

Hansol Group conveys life-enriching art via a space that communicates with nature
In 2013, the Hansol Cultural Foundation launched Museum SAN with a view to expanding the social contribution of upscale arts and culture. Designed by world-renowned architect Tadao Ando, Museum SAN introduces high-quality works that represent Korea’s modern and contemporary art and demonstrate the value of Korean paper. In addition, by running Asia’s largest James Turrell exhibition, the museum also reveals the essence of (mysterious) installation art. A nature-filled space where visitors can enjoy culture and relaxation, Museum SAN promises to become a more meaning place by communicating inspirations for new creations to visitors.
