Main Plants In South Korea

Janghang Plant
Boasting large-scale automation facilities and a pleasant production environment, Hansol Paper’s Janghang plant annually produces 760,000 tons of thermal paper, labeling paper, wood-free paper, and luxury printing paper. As a result of a significant facility investment made in 2013, the plant now has a flexible facility environment that makes it possible to cross-produce specialty paper such as thermal paper and labeling paper according to market circumstances.
 
Cheonan Plant
Specializing in specialty paper, Hansol Paper’s Cheonan plant produces approximately 110,000 tons of specialty paper each year, including fancy paper, functional paper, ink jet paper, thermal paper, and labeling paper. The plant develops high-value-added new specialty paper products and serves as a forward base for securing the group’s new growth engines. The plant is also experienced in developing stylish customized products that invigorate the design and packaging sectors.
Daejeon Plant
Hansol Paper’s Daejeon plant is South Korea’s largest white duplex board manufacturing plant boasting an annual production capacity of 660,000 tons. Equipped with a system for collecting excellent-quality Korean waste paper, the plant produces eco-friendly products using quality raw materials and cleaner equipment. The plant also boasts highly energy-efficient air-conditioning equipment, which underscores its continuous efforts to remain a genuinely eco-friendly plant.
 
Central Research Center
Established in 1979 as the first papermaking research center in the Korean papermaking industry, Hansol Paper’s central research center has been leading the advancement of domestic paper technology. Utilizing its advanced experimental facilities and excellent researchers, the center conducts in-depth research not only on papermaking technology but also on other related technologies such as printing and analysis. In addition, the center is contributing to enhancing Hansol Paper’s technological competitiveness through the development of next-generation business projects and to establishing a base for sustainable management.
Sintanjin Plant
In 2016, Hansol Paper’s Sintanjin plant, which has an annual production capacity of 280,000 tons, adopted the latest model of hybrid former worth 25 billion KRW for its paper machines. Following that, the plant made a large-scale investment in its thermal paper production facilities and equipment in 2017, furthering its journey into becoming the world’s leading thermal paper manufacturing plant.
